Design Nation Kortrijk 2026 is once again going all out

Networking opportunities, a careful selection of design objects and the Trend Stage

Following the success of previous editions, including a highly acclaimed edition in Berlin, Design Nation returns to Kortrijk Xpo on 15 and 16 October 2026 – stronger, more international and more innovative than ever. In the meantime, Design Nation has grown into the benchmark for decision-makers active in hospitality, healthcare and workspace design. A high-end B2B platform where knowledge, aesthetics and forward-looking design come together.

A unique setting that lets design speak

This year too, a carefully selected group of top brands will be showcasing their latest collections in a unique and inspiring setting. The neutral, serene backdrop of Design Nation has been deliberately designed to allow every type of design object – from furniture to lighting – to be shown to its absolute best advantage. Here, it is all about pure presentation, without noise. A place where materials, shapes and innovations truly shine.

Among the available premium brands we find Kewlox, Vitra, Pastoe, Polywave, MDF Italia, USM, Ondaretta, Gessi, DCW Editions and Bomma, amongst others. They offer both indoor and outdoor furniture, as well as kitchen and bathroom solutions, textiles, lighting and decorative objects.

Innovation as a foundation

The innovative power of the featured design is once again rigorously evaluated by a jury of experienced design professionals. Only collections with a distinctly innovative character earn a place on the exhibition floor. The successful plug-and-play formula remains one of the strengths of Design Nation. It fully supports exhibitors and allows all design objects to be shown to their best advantage. Always with the ambition to return to the essence: making design innovation visible.

Trend Stage: vision of the future

On the Trend Stage, international trendwatchers and leading voices from the design sector will share their insights on materials, interior futures, hospitality design and workspace evolutions. For instance, trendwatcher Hilde Francq will explain her vision of the trends for 2027. In addition, a speaker from the renowned architecture and design practice Snøhetta will take visitors through their perspective on product design and the creative process. This will also cover recent projects, such as the award-winning Array modular sofa system for MDF Italia, which received the prestigious ADI Compasso d’Oro Award in 2026.

A growing network of premium events

Design Nation is becoming a fixture in the international design calendar. After successful editions in Kortrijk (Belgium) and Berlin (Germany), the following dates are on the agenda:

• 25 & 26 February 2027 – La Grande Halle de La Villette, Paris, France
