Forget lusciously foaming shower gel and luxuriously scented shampoo. Drying yourself off becomes the best part of your shower ritual with Florence by Clarysse. A high-end hotel-quality towel line that is also exceptionally soft to the touch. "The most luxurious bath textiles in our range, with the highest certification in terms of sustainability," knows commercial director Kevin Volon.
Those who really want to pamper their guests choose quality textiles. Clarysse knows that like no other, with no less than 75 years of experience under its belt. Once started as a weaving mill, supplying fabrics for Adidas among others, and now as part of the Love Home Fabrics textile group, in which each company specialises in a specific area of textiles or latex. So hoteliers and B&B owners find plenty to like at Clarysse when it comes to bath or bed textiles, and restaurants also love the textile manufacturer's high-quality tea and kitchen towels.
Florence really is the cream of the crop when it comes to bath textiles. The line includes a towel, bath towel, maxi towel, flannels, washcloths and guest towels, matching ultra-soft bath mat and a bathrobe you'll never want to take off.
Luxurious, sturdy and durable: this is what we see reflected in the 600g/m² towel line, made entirely of combed GOTS cotton, double-stitched for extra strength and OEKO-TEX®-certified. "Sustainability is obvious to us in all areas. So the choice of GOTS cotton was also obvious. The Global Organic Textile Standard demands a sustainable, 100 per cent organic and fair product that follows strict labour laws and product requirements. In addition, we have banded all harmful substances, ensuring a safe product for everyone," Kevin says. "And, our textiles are exclusively dyed in an ecological way." An extra USP for hotels or bed and breakfasts that like to offer an ecological stay to their customers.
"We didn't compromise when it came to Florence," says Kevin. For example, the loops of combed cotton are double-tufted for ultimate softness and strength. "This product had to be as good as possible in every way. There are countless cheaper options to make a towel, but we chose the best with every option. We are proud of our Belgian and European roots. We also chose to attach the hanging loop to the long side. This way, the towel does not hang on the ground and drapes nicely on the hook." Small interventions that have a big impact.
Furthermore, you won't find any time-sensitive designs or busy prints in the Florence range. "It is a conscious choice to offer only solid colours. The sixteen timeless and stylish colours create tranquillity in the bathroom and fit into any interior. This also allows us to keep our collection stable, so that as a B&B operator or hotelier you can easily reorder the same range." That too is sustainability. Even personalisation with an embroidered logo of your establishment is possible.
You can bring such a high-quality, durable product into your home, how you treat your towel obviously also has a big impact on its lifespan. "Those who care for the Florence line correctly can enjoy it for up to ten years without experiencing any loss of quality," Kevin knows. "Wash your bath textiles at a maximum of 60 degrees Celsius. Boil wash destroys the fibres. Detergents with optical brighteners are also out of the question. And to keep them nice and soft, it is best to let them dry at a lower temperature for a longer period of time."
