Tarkett launches new click floor brand 'Stellar'

Tarkett, international leader in flooring solutions, is proud to introduce its latest brand: Stellar. This collection of ceramic and wood click floors is manufactured using an innovative digital printing technology. The result surpasses authentic wood and ceramic flooring because in addition to a better-than-realistic look and feel, Stellar also scores in terms of sustainability. Tarkett is the first company worldwide to launch a floor with these unique qualities. 

Stellar: the sustainable click floor of the future

With Stellar, Tarkett introduces a click flooring collection that redefines the standard. The brand consists of two collections: StellarCraft with 24 different wood designs and StellarElements with 12 unique ceramic and stone designs. The combination of innovative, digital 3DTex printing technology and a digitally printed embossed finish creates an unseen realistic surface that is hard to distinguish from real wood or ceramic. This gives Tarkett a global first.

The material is also stronger and includes tangible grain in the pattern, the depth of which can be adjusted to your own liking. With the introduction of Stellar, Tarkett offers a floor that combines the best of both worlds: the look and feel of natural materials with the benefits of a strong, scratch- and water-resistant click system. In short: a product that surpasses reality.

Modern comfort with an artisan look

Despite the ultra-sophisticated production process, Stellar still breathes nature. After all, the wooden or ceramic toppings come from images of real materials. Moreover, the wood is first treated artfully before being photographed and printed on a plate with a mineral core. This way, the print of each design is unique and the pattern matches beautifully. Thanks to this approach, the click flooring forms a natural-looking whole, even for large areas.

Recyclable after use

Finally, production is done sustainably. Produced in Europe, the collection contains 28 per cent recycled material in addition to 70 per cent minerals. After use, the flooring is recyclable again as part of Tarkett's ReStart® recycling programme. This initiative collects and recycles old flooring with the aim of increasing the proportion of recycled material in production to 30 per cent by 2030.

Stellar will be available from September. In Belgium and Luxembourg, Stellar will be available in 24 selected outlets, where specially designed displays and interactive experience tables will allow customers to experience the floor for themselves in shop.
