EquipHotel 2026: international hospitality meets innovation, design and experience in Paris

From innovative hotel concepts and circular design to artificial intelligence and the future of wellness. EquipHotel 2026 brings the international hospitality sector together in Paris. With more than 1,200 exhibitors, 80,000 m² of exhibition space and an extensive program full of inspiration and networking, the trade fair promises to once again become an important event for hoteliers, investors, architects and other hospitality professionals. The central theme of this edition is ‘L’Hospitalité Plurielle’: hospitality in all its facets.

EquipHotel is known as one of the leading European trade fairs for the hotel and hospitality sector. The event stands out for its broad, multidisciplinary approach, with four key pillars at its core: wellness, design, foodservice and technology. International market leaders and innovative newcomers present their latest products, services and concepts there.

But EquipHotel is about more than just discovering new products. The fair also offers hotel entrepreneurs and other professionals concrete tools for addressing current challenges, from renovation and new construction to sustainability, changing guest expectations and technological developments.

Paris as a source of inspiration for the hotel industry

The fact that EquipHotel is taking place in Paris is no coincidence. The French capital is an important testbed for new forms of hospitality. From the transformation of existing buildings to innovative lifestyle hotels and multifunctional hospitality concepts: the city shows how the hotel sector continues to evolve.

During EquipHotel, various leading projects and market developments are highlighted. The conference program offers visitors the opportunity to learn about new business models, exchange experiences, and explore which international developments are of interest to their own businesses.

For Dutch hoteliers, the fair thus offers not only inspiration, but also the opportunity to generate concrete ideas for future investments and developments.

Exclusive Collection: a new look at luxury

One of the notable innovations at EquipHotel 2026 is the introduction of Exclusive Collection, a dedicated exhibition area focused on the higher-end hotel segment.

Here, among other things, the exhibition is located Do Not Disturb, A Celebration of the Intimate Central. This special presentation is realized in collaboration with Entreprises du Patrimoine Vivant, a French certification mark for companies with exceptional craftsmanship.

Renowned names have been brought together for the design, including architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte of Wilmotte & Associés, Maison A&G, interior designer Paul Emilieu of Emilieu Studio and designer Mathilde de l’Ecotais.

The exhibition explores how luxury, intimacy, aesthetics, and craftsmanship come together in the contemporary hotel experience. In doing so, the concept aligns with a broader development within the luxury segment: the shift from traditional luxury towards personal, distinctive, and meaningful experiences.

Sustainability from ambition to practice

Sustainability also takes a prominent place on the exhibition floor. While sustainability has long focused primarily on ambitions and goals, the focus is increasingly shifting towards concrete applications within hotel development, design, and operation.

During EquipHotel, Emilieu Studio demonstrates how circular design principles can be integrated into hospitality environments. Not only material use and reuse play a role, but also the choice of suppliers, the layout of spaces, and the available budget.

In addition, the fair offers special visitor routes and conferences on sustainability and socially responsible business. The goal is to provide professionals with practical insights that will enable them to make their hotel or hospitality concept more future-proof.

AI and technology: working smarter, receiving better

The impact of technology on the hotel sector is growing. Artificial intelligence, automation, and data-driven applications are changing the way hotels are organized and how guests experience their stay.

EquipHotel 2026 therefore dedicates a special day to AI and technology. In collaboration with the American organization Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), the most important technological developments and their impact on the hospitality industry are discussed.

The emphasis is, among other things, on improving the guest experience, more efficiently organizing hotel processes, and strengthening operational performance.

With this, the program focuses not only on technological innovations, but especially on the question of how hotel operators can actually implement these solutions.
