In today's hotel industry, where competition is fierce and guest experience central, interior design plays a crucial role. Inside has positioned itself as a key player in this sector, offering customised and innovative design solutions that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional.
Bruges-based Inside is all about creating unique and memorable spaces. Their philosophy is based on the understanding that good design is more than just looks, it is about creating an experience and telling a story. Each project is approached with fresh eyes, working closely with the client to understand and realise their vision and goals.
Ian Meulemeester, co-founder Inside: "It actually all starts at the 'link' with the client, the part of the journey where I usually make the first contacts. This is because we like to work on projects that could also be of interest to us. We almost always look at the location first. Whether or not the customer has a concept in mind is also not unimportant. We try to think along with them right from the start and make adjustments if necessary. We usually have a good idea of whether a particular concept, combined with the location, could be successful or not. We also put the premises themselves under our magnifying glass. Is it suitable and does it have enough charisma? Is there room to install everything - new technology, cooker hood, etc. - and is there parking available? In short, we have quite an extensive checklist before we start. Also think about the number of covers, staff, .... All this, of course, only provides long-term benefits for our customers."
"Our core business is everything to do with hospitality," Sven Meulemeester continues. "This in combination with creating new concepts. And of course this can only be done in premises and locations that are suitable for this. Think of new buildings, shell buildings and buildings where we can literally strip (almost) everything. We will of course preserve valuable elements in the interior that contribute to the new concept. Because only then will you achieve maximum return."
"We listen to the client's vision and then we see which concept would best fit it. Because, of course, a fully developed concept is much more than just a mood board of Pinterest images. Through our acquired knowledge, we can undeniably add value to realise our clients' dreams. But we always remain very realistic and look at what can and cannot be done. Because not infrequently it is a real puzzle to reconcile the client's vision and the reality of the sector. Total design and hospitality, that's what it's all about. So it is not only important that a business looks nice, but it must also be workable. Think about staff savings, short walking distances, convenient storage, installing everything in the ideal place, including well-equipped ... Because that ensures that you, as manager, can spend more time with your customer and so the customer experience increases significantly. Everything stands or falls with that, and that's what we do it for!"
