Authentic, warm and with an eye for detail
The family hotel Bütgenbacher Hof in eastern Belgium continues to invest in quality and comfort. Led by the second generation, Thorsten and Jennifer Maraite have expanded and renovated step by step in recent years. The most recent development is the opening of the completely renovated Bergerhof House, just a hundred metres from the main building.

A total of five new rooms have been created at the Bergerhof, including two family rooms with a separate children's room and private sauna, offering plenty of space and comfort for families. There are also three modern double rooms.
Decorated with high-quality materials and plenty of wood, it reflects the warmth of the Ardennes and is inspired by Austrian style, with authenticity and naturalness at its core. In turn, the name Bergerhof is a nod to the house's original builders and emphasises its connection to local history.
In recent years, significant investments were made in the main building. The top floor was completely demolished and replaced by two new floors. This newly built section houses five deluxe maisonette rooms, ideal for families. Children enjoy their own cosy spot upstairs, while parents have access to a balcony overlooking the park downstairs. In addition, all the hotel's suites were completely renovated.
Besides the rooms, guests will also find a wellness area with a 16-metre pool and saunas at the hotel. A welcome addition in the changeable Eifel climate. Gastronomy also remains an important asset: the kitchen works with seasonal and regional products and creates dishes that bring the region to life.

As the first hotel in the German-speaking community of Belgium, the Bütgenbacher Hof recently received the title of four-star superior. With this, the hotel underlines its philosophy: to be more than a place to stay, by creating spaces and tastes that reflect the nature and culture of the Ardennes - authentic, warm and with attention to detail.
