Not just another experience park for professionals
Outdoor living has evolved from a practical 'extra' to an essential part of the overall experience. NOA outdoor living, the high-end inspiration park in Kruisem, shows how architecture, nature and technology come together to create inspiring outdoor spaces that take guest experiences to the next level.
With an impressive 30,000 square metre site, designed by landscape architect Koen Rygole of Buro Groen and concept agency Maister, and twelve themed gardens, NOA offers a realistic and inspiring setting in which the latest innovations in outdoor design become tangible. The NOA park is dedicated to pioneering developments in smart technologies, circular materials and architectural overall concepts, confirming NOA's position as the reference in high-end outdoor living.
CEO Paul Renson aptly sums up the vision behind NOA: "Outdoor living is no longer a collection of individual products, but an integrated concept. NOA shows how we can live outside as comfortably and aesthetically as inside."
That holistic approach translates into a setting where high-quality materials, smart technology and architecturally thoughtful concepts reinforce each other. "We are increasingly seeing the line between inside and outside being blurred," says Catherine Degreef, NOA manager. "Where you used to have a separate architect, landscaper and possibly an interior designer, today architects are expected to take an overall view and integrate both indoor and outdoor spaces in their design. There is also a clear shift in priorities: in the past, the interior was finished first and the outdoor space came later, often as an afterthought. Today, we realise that both, from the outset, should be considered and designed together. The exterior is no longer an isolated addition, but a full and essential part of the whole."
NOA shows concretely how smart technologies and innovative materials can be integrated into outdoor spaces. These include automatic sun blinds, heated terraces and sustainable, low-maintenance materials that can be used all year round. These applications allow professionals, including architects and hoteliers, to instantly see how to make outdoor spaces attractive and functional, regardless of the season.
NOA outdoor living is not only an inspiration park, but also an architectural statement. The design by Binst Architects serves as a meeting place for Belgian hospitality experts, architects, designers and property developers. The striking floating garden pavilion - 400 metres long - offers inspiration in showrooms, experience spaces, flexible meeting rooms and an auditorium for 300 people. In addition, the sustainable water collection system demonstrates how outdoor spaces can be beautiful and ecologically responsible.
Another important element of NOA is its emphasis on knowledge sharing and collaboration. They regularly organise events and workshops where professionals share ideas and experiences on the integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. This makes NOA not only a source of inspiration but also a lively networking platform for the sector.
Catherine Degreef concludes, "With NOA outdoor living, we offer Belgian and international professionals concrete solutions and inspiration that are directly applicable within their own projects."
NOA is accessible by appointment, so that every visitor - professional or private - can fully enjoy a personal and inspiring experience. Professionals from hospitality and architecture who want to enhance their outdoor experience will find valuable inspiration here and can also hold their meetings at NOA outdoor living if desired.
