Gresham Belson Brussels appoints Emilie Gerits-Brohet as Sales Manager to support relaunch under Tribute Portfolio

Gresham Belson Brussels is proud to announce the appointment of Emilie Gerits-Brohet as Sales Manager. She joined the team in mid-December, at a crucial time for the hotel. Part of the ASHG hotel portfolio and managed by StepPartners Europe GmbH, the hotel is currently undergoing a major transformation and is scheduled to reopen in the second quarter of 2026 under the Tribute Portfolio by Marriott label.

With this appointment, Gresham Belson Brussels brings in an international profile. Emilie was born in London and grew up in Taiwan, Singapore and Belgium. At a young age, she built an impressive career in upscale and luxury hospitality. She combines strong commercial acumen with an in-depth knowledge of service excellence, guest experience and sustainable relationship building.

Emilie started her career in guest relations at Sofitel Le Louise 5*, where she laid a solid foundation in high-end hospitality and operational excellence. She then moved to meetings & events at The Dominican 4*, where she managed complex events.

At Van der Valk Brussels Airport, her career experienced rapid growth. There, she evolved from Meeting & Events Coordinator to Junior Sales Executive and then Junior Sales Manager, consistently achieving strong, measurable results in various market segments.

She further expanded her international experience in the United States at The Breakers Palm Beach, a Forbes Four-Star resort. There, she was selected for a prestigious international associate programme, focusing on guest experience and service innovation. Today, she brings this global vision back to Brussels in her role at Gresham Belson Brussels.

Raf Willems, General Manager of Gresham Belson Brussels, explains the appointment: “Emilie's vision fits seamlessly with the direction we are taking with Gresham Belson. She combines an international outlook with commercial acuity and a genuine feel for hospitality. Ahead of the hotel's next chapter, her energy, maturity and relationship-driven approach in sales will be a great asset to our team.”

Emilie Gerits-Brohet also responds: “My goal is to use this transformation to highlight the hotel's distinctive design and strong local character to our corporate, MICE and leisure clients. In this way, I want to generate new business while strengthening long-term relationships. In the coming months, Emilie will play a key role in the commercial repositioning of the hotel ahead of its relaunch under Tribute Portfolio. In doing so, she will not only act as Sales Manager, but also as a visible ambassador of Gresham Belson Brussels' renewed identity.
