Smart design, with the right look-and-feel
"As hospitality experts, we work out an overall concept that captivates and attracts, along with the trends."

Smart design, with the right look and feel

In the world of hospitality, nothing is more important than creating a unique experience for guests. Whether they are on holiday with their family, travelling for business or booking a weekend away with friends. As experts in hospitality, Inside strives to provide an interior experience that intrigues, attracts and calms.

A hotel is the ultimate place where hospitality is key. From check-in to check-out, guests are pampered and that is what makes the hotel experience so unique. Whether you have just explored a city or attended a conference, once you step into the lobby of a hotel, you enter another world. Or at least that's the intention.

Sven Meulemeester, Inside Director: "From a cocktail at the bar to relaxing in the room, as soon as the guest enters the lobby of your hotel, the experience has to be right. In atmospheric surroundings, he is presented with a unique experience. As hospitality experts, we develop a total concept that captivates and attracts, along with the trends. The right look-and-feel, but also smart furnishings give your guests a warm welcome."

Home away from home

It is essential that guests feel immediately at home when they open the door of their hotel room. They need to experience a wow feeling. Tranquillity and a homely atmosphere play an important role in this and are often in the details. With warm, cosy materials and colours and lighting that radiates a soft atmosphere. Even scents help guests feel at home and completely unwind.

Luxury is important in a hotel, but comfort is even more important. It should actually feel better than at home. And that comfort is not always visible. Disturbing air-conditioning systems are better eliminated, and well-designed acoustics and ventilation increase the comfort of every guest.

Sustainability

Sven Meulemeester: "Sustainability plays a big role in hotel interior design. It goes beyond just putting up a sign to reuse towels. Furniture, fabrics and products are carefully chosen to last longer and fit within the concept of less waste. Increasingly, recycled or eco-friendly materials are chosen. The interior concept is often timeless because frequent replacement of furniture and interiors no longer fits our zeitgeist. Natural materials also exude tranquillity and contribute to a sustainable character."

Modern technology

No more fumbling with keys or passes through automated check-in: modern technology is indispensable in increasingly smart hotels. Upon entering the hotel room, for example, there is a dedicated area for charging mobile phones. Guests can easily switch between day and night mode and quickly create an ideal indoor climate. Often, the ambience and design can be adapted to the guest's personal requirements. Innovative hotels use technological developments to increase the comfort of each guest to create more peace of mind.

Good flow, zoning and well-considered walking routes ensure that hotels are managed efficiently with as few staff as possible. Guests step in and enter directly into the lobby or bar. The routes are clear and straightforward. Smart design gives every guest a warm welcome and an immediate feeling of relaxation.■
